Users can also subscribe to colleagues' external feeds--from a blog, Twitter, Facebook or any designated source--if the originator wishes to offer the feeds to others. Mindjet has released MindManager 8, which is designed to help individuals save time, ease information overload and become more efficient, says the company.Mindjet further explains that MindManager 8 is a Windows desktop application that allows users to map their ideas and information visually. CSC has unveiled new releases of its FirstPoint and FirstDoc enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, adding features designed to support the systematic management of all aspects of the document life cycle and the growing collaboration needs of global life science organizations.Based on MOSS, FirstPoint 1.6 is said to offer small to midsize life science companies an ECM solution that blends enterprisewide functionality with rapid adoption and cost-effective scalability, regardless of the size of the organization. It further offers real-time collaboration in a controlled environment, increasing productivity while reducing the risk of non-compliance, says CSC.
