Oracle reports it has purchased Tacit Software's intellectual property (IP) and hired its software engineers. Tacit is well known for automated profiling technology, and its expertise location solution helps organizations uncover new opportunities for collaboration. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.Oracle plans to integrate Tacit Software into Oracle Beehive, a secure, integrated, standards-based enterprise collaboration platform.
